There’s a lot to like about being back in the Bay Area. I get to be with Marie and her dogs, catch up with friends, and wear shorts in February. I also get to make occasional runs up to the Marin Headlands for sunrise photos of my favorite bridge.

In mid-January Marie and I made a quick weekend trip to Death Valley National Park. We both love driving through the park’s desolate landscapes and hiking out on the sand dunes. Clouds were putting a damper on the scene when we arrived, but we woke early the next morning to a perfectly clear sky.

Rob, great photgraphs. Enjoying your blog. Much different scenery than Yellowstone Park.

I’m surprised how little traffic this blog gets. This is absolutely fantastic photography.
